Let’s dive into our latest community engagement activity! We decided to switch things up by hosting a lively meetup in Pune. This time, we brought together our enthusiastic and fun-loving users for a creative and enjoyable pottery event. Little back story on pottery, pottery is like playing with mud but with a touch of magic! This age-old craft involves squishing and shaping clay into cool, useful, and beautiful objects. From the dazzlingly decorated pots of ancient China to the sturdy, earthy creations of African cultures, pottery has been a global favorite for millennia. On the day of the event, it was raining heavily, but to our delight, everyone still arrived on time, all smiles despite the downpour. Their enthusiasm and commitment to the event were truly impressive, adding a bright spot to an otherwise gloomy day. It was heartwarming to see such dedication and positivity from our community, and it set the tone for a wonderful and memorable gathering. Clay7Studio trainers took us on an exciting journey through the entire process. We kicked off by making both a plate and a cup, and the fun began with shaping the clay entirely by hand. Watching everyone dive into the clay, getting their hands dirty, and experimenting with different forms was a blast. Each person added their own unique flair, turning the clay into an array of imaginative shapes and designs. As the clay took form, it was incredible to see the creative ideas spring to life. After sculpting, we moved on to the drying stage, eagerly anticipating the next step, coloring! This was where things got really vibrant. Everyone went all out, mixing and matching colors in a frenzy of creativity. The end results were a stunning kaleidoscope of patterns and hues, reflecting each person's personality. It was a colorful and chaotic blast, and we all left with beautifully crafted pieces that were as unique as we are! Meanwhile, another group was having a blast at the spinning wheels, turning lumps of clay into fabulous mugs! At first, it was like watching a hilarious dance-off between their hands and the spinning wheels—everyone was trying to shape the clay while it whirred away. There were a few wobbly attempts and some clay-covered laughs, but with a sprinkle of guidance from the trainers, each mug started to take shape. Once the mugs were looking great, they had to take a little nap to dry before getting their final splash of color. It was a creative chaos of spinning, shaping, and painting that turned into a fun and memorable experience for everyone! After all the chaos, we enjoyed a delightful meal prepared by Clay7Studio, featuring scrumptious pasta, ramen noodles, and paneer chilli. Back to School Let me tell you about a day when a typical office filled with grown-ups, suddenly transformed into a lively schoolyard with "students" bustling around in uniforms. That was our Back to School day! Employees showed up in school uniforms, and the vibe was all about channeling our inner kids. The highlight? A ramp walk that was more about quirky moves and funny lines than high fashion. They even had school props that added to the fun – slates for doodling, tiny water bottles that took us back to recess, and those classic knee-high socks. The laughs were endless as colleagues showcased their childlike alter-egos with goofy walks and hilarious catchphrases. The whole day was a trip down memory lane, with everyone embracing their playful side. It was heartwarming and hilarious to see serious professionals transform into carefree kids, even if just for a day. Thread the Needle The following Fun Friday, we switched gears with a quirky little challenge: Thread the Needle. The task was simple – or so we thought. Employees had to thread as many needles as possible in just one minute. Sounds easy, right? Think again! Watching everyone fumble and struggle with the tiny needles was an absolute riot. There were dropped needles, missed threads, and a whole lot of concentration faces that quickly turned into giggles. Some even resorted to creative (and highly ineffective) strategies to speed things up. The room was filled with laughter, and the atmosphere was electric with friendly competition. It was a fantastic reminder that sometimes, the simplest games can bring the most joy. Hawa Baazi We went back to our childhoods and crafted our own paper planes. Some of us were crafting geniuses, while others…well, let’s just say their planes had unique flight patterns. Then came the best part: launching our planes! The room was buzzing with excitement as we watched paper planes swoosh, swirl, and sometimes crash spectacularly. There were cheers, laughs, and a lot of friendly competition as we all tried to see whose plane could fly the furthest. We had so much fun seeing everyone’s creative designs and cheering for each other’s flights. It was pure joy and a great way to end the week together! Initially, we gathered customer information and meticulously crafted invitations. Our team dedicated themselves to organizing the event, ensuring every detail was perfect. This involved scripting the host’s presentation, designing the cards, arranging the stage, and preparing specially curated gifts for our users. On the day of the event, our leaders and volunteers were dressed from head to toe, ready to greet our users with big smiles who arrived ready to have a great time. We kicked off the party with an exciting lineup of games and activities. The first icebreaker game kicked off with "Rain Clap," where everyone took turns mimicking the rhythmic sound of raindrops with their claps. It was a lively and enjoyable challenge that tested everyone's coordination and timing skills. The second ice-breaking game was "Finish the Sentence," where teams tackled topics by adding one word each to construct sentences together. It was a lively activity that not only encouraged teamwork and creativity but also fostered a deeper understanding of each other. Once everyone was settled, we introduced our main activity: "Make Your Own Card." Users had the freedom to unleash their creativity and design a card featuring their favorite elements. It was a chance for them to express themselves and have fun with their imaginations. Lastly, let's talk about the laughter and bonding that filled the air all day long. Whether we were swapping stories, cracking jokes, or simply enjoying each other's company, it felt like one big, happy family reunion. Let’s recap on our latest cook-off adventure in the bustling city of Mumbai which turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The event's highlight was a friendly cook-off challenge that united our users for a day brimming with fun, laughter, and delectable food. The venue was set, the ingredients were ready, and the excitement in the air was palpable as our users arrived. We kicked off the event with warm introductions and some ice-breaking activities. One of the most enjoyable moments was when we asked the teams to come up with creative names for themselves. The team names were really fantastic: we had Chefs on Fire, Gourmet Kalesh, and Tasty Titans. Soon enough, the kitchen was buzzing with activity. Teams were formed, recipes were shared, and the cook-off began! The challenge was simple: create the most delicious crostinis, pizzas, and chocolate cupcakes. But what transpired was far more than just a cooking competition. As soon as everyone started setting up for mise-en-place, the air was filled with the sounds of chopping, sizzling, and the occasional burst of laughter. Bloopers were inevitable – from accidental spills to hilarious miscommunications – but they only added to the charm of the event. One memorable moment was when ‘Chefs on Fire’ forgot to add salt to their crostini toppings. The look of confusion on their faces when they took a bite was priceless! which turned into a running joke for the rest of the day. Meanwhile, Gourmet Kalesh’s way of kneading the dough for the pizza was quite the handful, leading to lots of giggles from everyone watching. As the dishes began to take shape, the aromas wafting through the room were tantalizing. Each team put their heart into their creations, showcasing impressive culinary skills and creativity. When it was time to ice the chocolate cupcakes with ganache, the kitchen was filled with laughter as teams tried their best to achieve the perfect swirl. Some cupcakes ended up looking a bit more "abstract" than intended, but they were delicious nonetheless. When the time was up, we had an array of mouth-watering dishes laid out before us. Our esteemed Chef had the tough job of tasting each dish and deciding the winner. After much deliberation, the title went to Tasty Titans for their innovative twist on traditional recipes. Their dish was a harmonious blend of flavors that left everyone asking for seconds. We wrapped up the event with a feast, where we all indulged in the fruits of our labour. Conversations flowed easily, and new friendships were forged over plates of delicious food. Another day, another event with OneCard. Excited to learn more? Let's dive in!  Summer is here, and we wanted to try something different. We discovered a café called Artizen, which has a very artistic vibe where you can enjoy a meal and paint. We thought it was an amazing idea to bond with our users.  We quickly reached out to our users to see who could join us. Once we got a great response, we were all set to go! On the day of the event, our team and volunteers showed up bright and early to get everything ready. The cafe was absolutely magical, with art popping up everywhere, making it an exciting and vibrant place to be! As our users walked through the door, their excitement was evident. Once they settled in, we kicked things off with games of Jenga and Uno to break the ice and get everyone comfortable!  Before we began, Upma, the owner of the cafe, gave a brief introduction. She shared how she and her husband, both artists, came up with the idea for the cafe. They started it for their daughter, wanting people of all ages and backgrounds to come and enjoy art, pick up a brush, and draw anything they desired. Once the users received their art kits and canvases, everyone began with their first stroke. Some searched online for inspiration, while others knew exactly what they wanted to create. Some began by sketching with a pencil to get it right, while others jumped straight into painting from the get-go. Everyone happily chit-chatted, trying to learn what others were painting and a little bit more about each other. That's how we believe in building a community—through interactions and communication. We served some fun drinks and appetizers to get everyone energized. One of the users, Hrishi, painted a tree and invited everyone to add their fingerprints as leaves. It was a sweet gesture that made everyone feel included. Another user had recently visited Vietnam and was thrilled with OneCard's services, as he benefited from 0% Forex, allowing him to spend more freely without worries. He drew a cup because Vietnam is renowned for its coffee culture. The event was an absolute blast, brimming with energy, laughter, and boundless creativity at every turn. Let's huddle up and spill the beans on all the fun Friday events we've had over the last few weeks! Come join us as we relive April's thrill! We began with a game called ‘What the Flip’, where each participant received five paper cups and attempted to flip them upside down within a 30-second time limit. Witnessing the joy and excitement as participants gave it their all, attempting multiple rounds to master the art of cup-flipping within the designated time. The following week, we tried our hands at 'double trouble'. In this game, we had to juggle bouncing a balloon while drawing. This unique challenge brought out everyone's artistic side in a fun and unexpected way. It was a joy to witness the hilarious struggle of keeping the balloon afloat while simultaneously completing our drawings. Then, things got even more entertaining with a twist on the classic game of Chinese Whispers. In our version, ten of us lined up, and a movie title was whispered to the first person, who then had to act it out to the next in line, and so on. The result was a hilarious chain of interpretations as the message evolved with each participant, keeping us all on our toes and doubling over with laughter. We added a unique twist to our Fun Friday festivities with the 'Squatting Neighbor’. The rules were simple- participants formed a circle, and a ball was tossed around. When someone caught the ball, the two people adjacent to them had to quickly squat down. The fast-paced nature of the game led to plenty of excitement and amusement, as participants scrambled to react in time. Amidst the flurry of movement and laughter, the game brought a delightful sense of energy to our gathering. Finally, we wrapped up with the Pyramid Scheme. The initial task was to construct a three-tier pyramid within a tight 3-minute window. Once accomplished, participants earned the opportunity to partake in a thrilling ring toss challenge. Each individual received three rings to toss at various gifts, with the chance to win the prize corresponding to where the ring landed. As we wrap up this month, it's safe to say it's been a fantastic ride filled with laughter and joy. Those activities were just a taste of the excitement we've shared! Then, it was time to nourish the mind and body with yoga. Led by a friendly instructor, everyone stretched and breathed deeply. A calm mindfulness was attained that sparkled from the happy energy of the pups. It was a mix of relaxation and fun, with wagging tails adding to the joy. Yoga reminded us how flexible (nope) we are and how much exercise we need to function properly. Between yoga poses, there were chances to chat and connect. People shared their thoughts on the event, and everyone agreed—it was a fantastic idea! After yoga, there was food and more time to hang out with the furry friends. Here at OneCard, we're thrilled to shake things up by inviting some of our users to engage with our team and each other, adding a unique and special touch to their birthday experience. We at OneCard aimed to do it the old-fashioned way, following tradition by sending out physical cards for invitations. A tremendous amount of creativity and thoughtful planning went into it, resulting in a large turnout of people who came together to celebrate. The excitement was palpable in the moment, as our first user stepped through the door. Their energy ignited a spark within our team, setting the tone for the entire event to kick off with a vibrant atmosphere. To get the ball rolling on our event, we played a fun game of "Two Truths and a Lie," which sparked lively conversations among our users, allowing them to get to know each other better and be comfortable. We could sense the ice breaking and bonds forming. After the users settled in, we introduced our next and the main activity: "Make Your Own Card," giving our users the freedom to unleash their creativity and let their imaginations run wild by creating a card of their own choice with features that they love! The outcome was nothing short of a fun-filled informative activity. This gave us some invaluable feedback and insight into what would they want. Immediately following that, we engaged in an interactive session led by our Chief Marketing Officer. Observing our users compete head-to-head and aim for the top position was truly enlightening. The smile on the winner’s faces, tells us everything! Following that, we proceeded with a heartfelt cake-cutting ceremony, done by the cute kids of our users. Their energy took the whole event to another level! We sang Happy Birthday and then everyone dived in the delectable food with the same energy and empty bellies. We were lucky to bond over these personal connections through our conversations, and we hope that you treasure these moments as much as we do. We wanted to make them feel cherished and appreciated, so we invited them to an unforgettable day with us. Fun and Games: As our users arrived, they were greeted with smiles and warmth, setting the tone for a delightful evening ahead. We started with ice-breaking sessions and games to break down any barriers and foster a sense of fellowship. Laughter filled the air as everyone participated enthusiastically, bonding over shared experiences and mutual interests. From classic indoor games to interactive quizzes, there was something for everyone to enjoy. These activities not only brought us closer together but also helped create lasting memories. Picture this: good vibes, amazing food, and a bunch of awesome peeps! Our motive, just like our community, was to ask everyone to bring something to the table i.e. Delicious Food!! Thank you so much for showing up, eating, smiling, and serving home-cooked food. We kicked off the afternoon with introductions and a tour of the Cafe showed us the beautiful designs and items of this cool spot. A throwback to the good old days with some dumb charades. Cue the laughter and nostalgic moments—imagine us acting our hearts out and then being laughed at by your own teammates! Then came the feast! We dove into a potluck spread that was basically a foodie's dream come true. From secret family recipes to wild culinary experiments, every dish was a winner. It was like a buffet of happiness, and we couldn't get enough. There was ‘Pita bread with hummus’, ‘Palak Paneer, Paneer Butter Masala, Egg Curry, Pulao’, ‘Kheer, Plum Cake, and Icecream’. After filling our bellies, we cranked up the fun with a jamming session. Our talented members took the stage, singing some nostalgic tunes. 🎶 To wrap things up, we had a surprise goodies session. And boy, did they do more than just sing! For the occasion of #WorldMusicDay, we made a beat from scratch >> wrote a catchy jingle >> and recorded it with professional help >> sang and sang our hearts out!! We kicked off with introductions and getting everyone excited about what was about to unfold. You could feel the energy and excitement building up in the room. The sheer shocked reaction when they saw the professional setup and heard the song was a sight to behold. As the event progressed, laughter filled the room, joy overflowed, and singing voices echoed through the walls. It was pure magic. You know, it's in these kinds of experiences that we often stumble upon hidden talents, make connections, and create memories that we'll cherish forever. So here's a big shout-out to Jayant Mishra, Yogalaxmi Nadar, Srishti Duggar, and Rohit Sharma for their incredible courage, enthusiasm, and willingness to step out of their comfort zones.
