Some food experiences stay with you because they make you pause. This pizza-making workshop did exactly that.
Learning the Dough Way!
A brief dive into pizza’s history and the role of 00 flour set the foundation. Light and finely milled, it reminded us that great pizza begins long before it reaches the oven.

We began by understanding the space, built around homegrown ingredients, a wood-fired oven, and years of quiet expertise guiding every step. Before touching the dough, we learned the philosophy behind it: respect the ingredients and trust the process.

The workshop moved through four stages of dough: mixing, kneading, spreading and topping, and finally the fire. Divided into three teams, we rotated through each step, discovering different instincts and techniques along the way. At times, everyone stood in a circle simply observing the dough come together. Some folded it like seasoned pros, while others struggled hilariously before finding their rhythm. Messy hands, shared laughs, and constant learning filled the room.

Baking time!
The most satisfying moment was sliding your own handcrafted pizza into the wood-fired oven and watching it transform into a golden masterpiece.

The payoff was worth the wait. Light, airy pizzas with crisp edges, followed by tiramisu to close the experience on a sweet note.
This marked another chapter in our food series, first sushi and now pizza. Different cuisines, same takeaway: slow down, learn the craft, and share the table.
