The monsoon season has arrived, and it inspired our recent event, "Pond & Beyond." We gathered for a resin art workshop, looking for a way to capture that peaceful rainy-day feeling. It was a great opportunity for everyone to step back from their routines and discover the artist within. We started with simple wooden discs, setting out to create our own unique Koi ponds.
The creative process was both relaxing and engaging as we arranged fish, lotus flowers, lotus leaves, and tiny boats on wooden discs. The excitement grew as everyone imagined the depth and dimension the final layer of resin would bring.

The highlight of the workshop was the resin pour itself. We carefully formulated the mixture and watched as it filled our designs. As the resin covered the ornaments, the pond design truly came to life. Seeing the clear, liquid layer bring everything together was a rewarding experience, transforming simple pieces into a beautiful, finished artwork.
By the end of the session, it was fascinating to see how everyone started with the same instructions but finished with completely different results. Each pond had its own personality and charm. "Pond & Beyond" was more than just a creative activity; it was a reminder of how personal art can be, and it was a perfect way to spend a monsoon afternoon.
