The idea was simple: ask users about their favourite food joints and go there with them (on us, of course). What followed was a series of shared meals, easy conversations, and genuine moments that gave us a glimpse into their worlds: beyond the screens.
Gong Sushi

We kicked things off at GONG with Sumanth and Shailesh. The ambience was energetic, the food even better - an array of unique Baos and Sushis packed with flavor.
The "Guess the Ingredients" game brought lots of laughs, and over the meal, we heard fascinating stories about Pune’s past, like Dandiya being played where city spaces now stand. A great start with great people!

Patil Misal
Next, we went traditional. Tushar suggested Patil Misal, and it did not disappoint. The misal was spicy and satisfying, and the Taak was just what we needed in the heat.
We bonded while waiting in long lines and shared some hilarious life stories.
Mathura Amras

For dinner, we went to Mathura Pure Veg – a nostalgic spot with old-school service, a classic menu, and charmingly unchanged interiors. The North Indian food hit the spot, especially the Aam Ras finale.
Our signature ingredient-guessing game made a return, with the self-proclaimed chef, Komal, facing a humbling defeat. The highlight? A spontaneous dive into football and console gaming chats with Ishan – unexpected and super engaging.

We Idliwale Appam
Our last stop was an unknown gem: We Idliwale Barroom. Don’t let the name fool you, this place redefined South Indian cuisine.
From the beautiful interiors to the surprisingly creative dishes like Appam and Sweet Potato done in multiple styles, it was a memorable close to our journey.
This time, the conversations with Ruchita and Swaraj took over and flowed well past the meal, stories, laughs, and reflections, a truly wholesome way to end our tasty trail.
What really stood out was how food turned out to be the perfect icebreaker, turning casual hangouts into genuine moments filled with laughter, stories, and learning. This whole journey reminded us that beyond the screens and apps, it’s these shared experiences that truly bring us together. Here’s to many more tasty adventures ahead!
